Want to know more about the World Trade Center and the events of 9/11? This walking tour will tell you all you need to know and your local guide was even present in NYC during the attacks. We will show you around the area which was once known as “Ground Zero” and now goes by the name of the new World Trade Center. Our guide will outline the events of the day, giving you first-hand accounts of the tragedy. Visit the moving memorials that have been installed, commemorating the firefighter’s, office workers and more. Tour the impressive 9/11 Memorial, also known as the World Trade Center fountains, which stands in the place of the Two Towers and are the nation’s largest man-made waterfalls.

Then we will move on to the present, looking at the constructions that currently stand at the site. You will learn about their design and the ideas behind their forms. Your guide will fill you in on how the regeneration of this area has affected New Yorkers. Finally, you will look to the future and learn about the plans to continue investing in the area.

After the tour, you can choose to return to the National 9/11 Memorial Museum to continue learning more about this fateful day. The entrance is not included in the ticket price.

We will visit the building from the outside, but the entrance is not included in the tour. But we highly recommend that you visit after the tour has ended.
